I think so! In my view, peer review should be seen as a scholarly contribution, and we can create that reward structure only if the reviews are in the open. That way, those who are conscientious and thoughtful evaluators of research can be recognized as well.

Moreover, I believe opening peer review will lead to more careful reviews, and thereby promoting the quality of the published work in the journal. And as above, I believe the published reviews can be helpful sources for the reader in evaluating the research.
