Gonna try to put some info about him here: Cyan is shy, and he has a hard time talking to pokémon he doesn’t know.  He’s also a people-pleaser, often putting other’s wants over his own, and he struggles to voice his own opinions if he thinks the pokémon listening would disagree.

 He prefers to consider his options carefully before taking action, but since he's friends with Jet (the Finizen in the last piece), he doesn't really get the opportunity to think things over before Jet does something impulsive.
