Now that I've downloaded the app on my phone, I have realized that the banner matches your device's theme setting and that it is grey because my computer is in light mode but it's black on my phone because that's in dark mode LOL I see. I understand.
I kind of like the default grey banner. My twitter banner is also a flat light grey so... Simplicity.
