Two embroidered badges of Kaiju and Lucille for TheSteveVRC on twitter! Pretty sure Kaiju was the most detailed badge I've made yet with all the applique and details. He was a fun challenge! Also loved Lucille's design and color palette. Really happy with how both turned out!
This was Ace the jackalope I made at the end of September. I was a little intimidated by the simple art style and stylized hair, but I think I managed to pull them off! They're 15" tall (not including the antlers) and have a jersey crop top and shorts. The socks are baby socks, lol.
Final photos of Arizona the cheetah from a little while back! I absolutely love how she turned out and she proved to me that I'm capable of making both clothing and long haired characters, two things I was very apprehensive about for a long time, hah!
Wow it's been a while since I've been around here, I apologize! I've just had so little energy for social media lately, despite how much I enjoy this platform compared to Twitter. Arizona is 99.9% done and is just missing a belt buckle at this point! That's already on its way to me, but here's a final WIP in the meantime. So happy with how her outfit turned out...it really got me wanting to work with more clothing in the future! 😁
It was a bit tougher than I was anticipating, but I got her hair made today! Really happy with how it looks too. Gonna be getting to her tail tomorrow and hopefully working on her outfit.
On a camping this weekend. A nice sunset on the bank of the Rhein, a little tipsy, and spending the evening playing board games with hubby. There's nowhere else I'd rather be. 🥰
Been feeling kind of icky lately so progress on this gal has been slower than I'd wanted...but we're finally getting somewhere! She's got 104 applique spots so far and will still have more on her tail! She'll still be getting some hair and a cute outfit in the coming days.
