8. Vemod - The Deepening I guess that a big issue with albums released in January is that most of the people will forget about it by the time of ranking the best releases of the year. This one might not get into my top 10, but still, what an incredible piece of Norwegian Black Metal we have here.

9. Funeral Rites - Necroeater The only full length released by this Japanese Black Metal band. For fans of the first wave, where evil sounding riffs were more important than everything else. This one includes even a Sodom cover for Blasphemer. Fucking great underrated band.
