it's okay just to be happy that you had a chance to be happy, even amidst other difficulties, and before endings yet to come. It's an important skill to develop, to not diminish the nice things we did get to experience, good times that were had. Other things can still be true, at the same time.

i think it sounds like you're doing that hard work developing that skill, it takes being willing to be contradictory, and to not condemn yourself for it or shut down one side over another.
