I remember a rendition of #LastNightOfTheProms in connection with the return of Hong Kong to China in 1997. Personally, & I'm liberal, I've always loved the Proms & I love Land of Hope and Glory & Rule Britannia. A long story, but it goes back to my sailor days & interaction with British Sailors.
