The white wolf is Bosch and he was raised as a pet before being handed in. Adult wolves go through a hormonal and personality change every winter for mating season which can make them territorial/grumpy/aggressive. Staff can’t go into the enclosure around this time

This is like my parrot, essentially a wild animal that shouldn't be in a house and gets hormonal. Bird people don't like referring to them as pets in the first place. She's a baby right now, but is very much not a pet already. We really do take away so much from animals by bringing them into homes.
