This isn't any less infuriating than it was when I first learned about his plight some 35+ years ago when I read Matthiesen's In the Spirit of Crazy Horse. I'm still hopeful for his freedom, but fully expecting to be disappointed yet again.

Born and raised in California and definitely remember having Aesops's Fables when I was a kid. I seem to remember them being much more prevalent in older cartoons as well.
