oh. i fall victim to this a lot but tbh, the few times i did artmoot, i gained actual mutuals. i think it has it's ups and downs tbh.

I always despised seeing those, it was an instant turn away for me. 😭🙏

It was getting incredibly repetitive, and some of those people already had a lot of followers too!

PLEASE do away with it, I've tried to seriously find people who want to discuss art and build off each other and help each other grow, but was near impossible because everyone who was "interested" only wanted follow for follow and zero engagement

Newbie here, what is an Artmoot?

I think we have to look at the circumstances here. People with thousands of followers doing it for engagement and usually not even following through? Yeah, get rid of it. New artist account who'd just like some fellow artist friends? I think that should be the actual use of artmoots tags and such.
