Part of a Christmas order going out to a customer - I had a little play before packing and made a deconstructed version of ‘The Strawberry Thief’ by William Morris. #needlefelting

An old tall glass bottle standing on a wooden shelf against a rough plaster interior wall. There is a natural branch station in it with several twiggy offshoots, covered in yellow lichen. A decorative white woollen folk bird hangs from one branch and two red woollen strawberries studded with off white beads hang from others. The atmosphere is plain and sparse so that the decorations stand out.
