Romania: On September 18, authorities discovered a significant cocaine shipment hidden in 16 tons of frozen fruit pulp, originating from Ecuador and destined for the Netherlands. The container was unloaded at Constanţa Port and monitored throughout its journey. 1/3
The shipment, containing 71 barrels of fruit pulp, was intercepted at the Nădlac border on September 23. Following a full inspection, cocaine was found concealed within the barrels. It is estimated that the shipment contained several hundred kgs of cocaine. 2/3
