I feel like as millennials we were the last generation in the US to see people in charge actually weigh the facts and do the right thing on any number of issues and we should be fighting tooth and nail to get back there. Everything is fucked up now but it doesn’t have to remain so

Acid rain, too. That was a huge problem in the ‘80s… less so now, I believe (?). Humans *can* cooperate to achieve good things, but it takes effort.
