As someone who is fascinated with lore and atmosphere particularly when it comes to the horror genre, I will always look to the non horror game Metroid Fusion as a masterclass in how to create amazing atmosphere. I cannot overstate how incredible it is, or how it’s the best Metroid game ever imo.
