I sought out absolution until I couldn’t anymore. I searched within the viscera mess of what remained of me. I could only begin to find it when I realized the threat she said I posed  was never to her. It was always to  something much, much greater.

To all the canceled trans women: I know we didn't mean to salt this earth, but we were left no other way  away from there.
