That's true, Starfield has a small scope and misguided goals when compared to Skyrim or Fallout 3. Obsidian's own Outer Worlds was of that quality in my opinion but it also had a small scope, and I feel like Avowed will be similar after that first look. I was hoping for something more interesting.

On the flip side, I was surprised at how Avowed looked. I expected a Skyrim clone, but I don't see anything beyond that, and Starfield has already made it clear that people are tired of that formula. I hope the writing is killer, maybe that will make up for everything else.
