I want to try and read books that are like outside my usual genres of fantasy and stuff. Is there a book you recommend?

Gosh, that's a super broad question! These are all science fiction/fantasy/horror or adjacent except Yellow Bird which is a true crime book. Which fantasy authors do you love?
