I was "Sandy" as a little girl which is apparently a common nickname for Alexandra, and lemme tell you I dumped that shit the second I moved out of my parents' home at 17.

My aunt Sandra is Sandy. My dad Randolph is…you guessed it, Randy. They are twins. Why, Grandma… I’m very happy you get to not be Sandy now.

I feel like Alexandra might have the largest number of nickname options. Alex, Alexa, Lexa, Lexie, Lex, Sandra, Sandy, Xandra, and Sasha are all legit.
