The moment I first heard this track when Snake and Meryl talk about what it’s like to kill for the first time was the moment I was officially hooked.

I didn’t play Forces until 2022 and honestly, it’s…fine? I wouldn’t go back to it over many other Sonic games (especially with Overclocked) but I struggle to see what made it quite so abhorrent among the Sonic fan base.

The original source is one of Dragonball Z movies, where one of the villains has this goofy trucker design and an over the top Texan accent in the dub. When Team Four Star did their abridged parody, they absolutely RAN with it. ‘Now then…where’s ma’ TRUCKER HAT?’
