CNN's days are numbered. People have abandoned their cable program. No one is going to pay to access their site. For decades their site has been pretty useless - they run the same old stories for WEEKS. Sadly, online news sites are skewing their news coverage by focusing only on headlines.
The problem with this complaint is that journalists need and deserve to be paid or there will be no actual news and if you give news away for free it’s much harder to pay them fairly
And they act like it's some piracy thing or some shit but people have literally been reading paywald news for decades You can go look at footage of any morning commute and any major city and there's just a bunch of people standing around the newsstand reading the newspapers for free.

There is a lot to criticize with Apple News+, but it also being one of the few subscriptions that balances cost with breadth of accessible journalism makes it significantly easier than juggling a large number of subscriptions to stay informed.
I think this daily when I see headlines about republicans or 2025, or climate issues, and when I click I am blocked. So much for them telling me it's important. Not more important than greed, apparently 😠😠😠
