Actually I want to re-up this one to specifically say that it’s so much better to mute or block someone you find annoying rather that to start a one sided parasocial war against them which is freak behavior. Disengaging rather than causing conflict will make you happier.

Coming up with a theory about why the friend group you see interacting with each other online are EVIL is a waste of everyone’s time, especially yours.

In hindsight the only thing I've regretted about blocking someone was not blocking them earlier. People who get incensed by being blocked don't get any nicer about it because you held off.
