Anyway yes I do hate the game made by the person who sicced Sony PR on critics who don’t like his work, which is something Neil Druckmann has done. I would say that’s a normal and rational response.
Halley Gross definitely had some weird bone to pick with games journalism. Neil and her will forever be ingrained in shit for trying to use their platform to sick fans on Maddy. Like never have I ever seen something so vile and evil.
I hate it because it’s really well made with interesting combat, good acting, fun characters all filters through the most A-historical, unrealistic view of humanities response to crisis. And cheap emotion manipulation through the use of dogs. Like shit we make fun of bad disasters movies.
I don’t like Neil I admire his courage to kill a liked character for the sake of the story he wants to tell and keeping the studio as a single player focused one But I hate the way that he sounds like trying to say the only form of art in games are the realistic cinematic ones
i feel like you could draw a through line between this and the fact they used like snuff films as art references to make the violence "realistic"
I am STILL occasionally getting shit and made fun of for not liking the original TLoU as much as others from Sony reps. Im known as „that guy who gave it a 7“. Despite the outlet not existing for like 5-6 years at this point. Its fucking exhausting
Was it Troy Baker that quote tweeted a tweet with a full poem or did I imagine that
More like Neil Fuck'dmann I'm very original and clever and nobody has made this joke before
