It’s really wild having a brain that likes to subconsciously shove most bad experiences and memories into a corner it knows you don’t frequent. And then people will be recounting something that happened to you in a relevant conversation and you’re just like, “Wait, that happened?”. Real interesting.

And then you get to process that moment all over again, only for your head to inevitably shove it back in that corner until it gets brought up in another conversation. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat.
