Model is mostly done, but we've been having to do some housekeeping and the like to support it. Most of that is ALMOST done and we're hoping to have it in place by TwitchCon Europe (no promises but we feel like we're close).

Our current model (the thing that lets YarpBot understand your chat messages) needs some TLC, so we're been working on a new one that works faster, is easier to update, and even lets us use our GPU for training (MUCH faster).

So now that YarpBot+ is out there in the wild, we've been working now on some general updates for the entire userbase. Main thing in progress: an BRAND NEW NLP MODEL!

We estimate this should take about 10 minutes assuming we don’t mess anything up (like we did when upgrading staging but we totally learned our lesson). We will be posting status information on YarpBot’s Twitter during the process.
We realize this is annoying but it’s how this is gonna work. So on Feb 24, 2024 around 12:00 PM PST, YarpBot will enter maintenance mode and we will perform the upgrade.
As in the past we didn’t need this permission from users and YarpBot only requests the permissions necessary, after this change you will need to login and grant this permission on login and re-add the bot to your channel from the Dashboard page.
