The Israel Defense Forces are investigating the episode, which it said went against “IDF values.” The United States has called for an investigation.

They mean the getting caught on video part

the "IDF values" they broke in this case are that they didn't shoot the journalists who were filming it first

we don't even know if these men they shoved off the roof were actually dead We only know they were not moving that we could see ISR soldiers seem to have no moral guidelines at all in their conduct & we can not expect any integrity on this issue from our own gov't which really leaves us stranded
