It's so obvious to those of us that lived through it but kids really are incredibly hazy on when technology happened. They think email was invented in the 1700s and that I remember the first telephone call.

it's not just kids, when i first heard that rasputin was very much into prank calls on his telephone, i felt very discombobulated still do in all honesty

My nephew asked me when he was about 8 or 10 if the fall of the Berlin Wall was in colour on the TV. Not felt such a crone since seeking a Speak and Spell in the Science Museum as an exhibit.
