what ever happened to the chicago font? it was such a good font but it doesn’t exist anymore, it wasn’t just common in apple computers but even JRPGs for the super nintendo used the chicago font, there was even anime localized into english that used the chicago font, but now nothing, they killed it!

in the opening credits of the anime Rave Master, you see this dude Sieghart Caeser who looks identical to Jellal Fernandes, Siegrain, and Mystogan from the anime Fairy Tail, with blue hair and a tattoo above and below his right eye, he is conjuring flames and looks really cool but the more relevant part to this post is the credits on the screen are in the font Chicago (and are in the lower right part of the screen) they say the following: CREATED BY Hiro Mashima (in Kodansha Weekly Shonen Magazine) but still check out how Sieghart looks identical to Jellal, holy shit! almost like the manga artist Hiro Mashima who made Rave Master, Fairy Tale, and Edens Zero reuses the same character designs in different manga and anime but also the Chicago font looks cool too! this whole image looks cool! except it is low resolution and blurry, from standard definition TV sadly
