We had an “off-campus” pass but it was only available to Library volunteers. I volunteered in my HS Library all four years so I could get the pass, run to the store for snacks, and smoke a cigarette there/back.

It give me so much joy watching people experiencing things for the first time, especially when it’s something I already love.
