X isn't incentivized to deplatform harmful disinformation, they're incentivized to monetize the hell out of harmful disinformation.

I doubt they even have the capacity to deplatform the sheer volumes of harmful disinformation at this point. Not even kidding. Musk has destroy the infrastructure of that site and its safeguards.

I wouldn’t get too excited. In 2007, the asked us back to the table just to offer us a shitty deal they knew we’d have to reject just so they could say we walked away and try to use that to break our solidarity. There’s no trick too dirty for these people.
