It's fine if you find his geeky ways unbearable now. Tastes change, but I assure you, he was much worse in the beginning. All the trauma has really toned him down. imo of course
What's neat about Re:Zero s3 ep1 being a super long 90 min premiere is that it is in fact, neatly paced. You can cut it at about the 25 minute mark and the 50 etcetera and end up with three or four regular episodes with hardly much fuss. Easy to take breaks. Episode 5 is next week technically, haha
Despite Re:Zero being a new fav of mine, (8 years ago), the 1st ep of s1 was one of the worst premieres ever largely because of Subaru just waffing about for over 30mins while I waited for the shoe to drop. season 3 starts the exact way & yet here I enjoyed the relaxed start. Funny how times change
