A wonderfully indescribable and strange film by David Byrne of Talking Heads. The story was based on a collection of odd newspaper clippings he gathered. Set in a small town in Texas preparing for the state's 150th anniversary celebration, the film portrays the lives of its quirky residents.

At the center of the story is Lewis, a man longing for marriage. His character is well-crafted—goofy, earnest, shy, yet eccentric. Additionally, Byrne’s surreal expressions and narrative style guide the story, lending the entire film a surrealistic atmosphere. A one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
