A month later, I finished The Hobbit and began The Fellowship of the Ring! I also watched the Rankin/Bass special for the first time. As I read through each volume of LOTR, I will then rewatch each installment of the cinematic trilogy. ✨
In anticipation of The War of the Rohirrim, I decided to start reading the Middle-earth novels! Tonight I made it up to the events of the first Hobbit movie, An Unexpected Journey. I have already seen the films but thought it would be fun to compare them to the original source!
