Bond almost always fights fictional villains. The Cold War definitely exists in Bond movies, but he hardly ever fights the USSR.

Yeah, I’m not a Bond aficionado. There might be one movie with the USSR as villain? Folks want escapism for the most part. For myself, if I’m watching spy stuff, give me something based on a true story that doesn’t play loose with history
