Oh! Maybe helps open your thinking to adding some colors you might not expect. Not sure how far could it go, because with physical painting most of the vibrancy of these colors doesn't exist. But, it's really fun!
Commissions? I’ve been enjoying Baldurs Gate 3 so much. I’d love to paint people’s Tav’s in my portrait or fullbody style. If you’re interested, show screenshots of your Tav and what you’d pay for a portrait or full body. Let’s roll that charisma check 😉
Second is that lately (mostly portfolio reviews) I felt some people confused about me not having a main focus, which made me think maybe I need to have a main focus, but still, I think that's probably not me (?). Idk maybe it's just my overthinking mind hahaha
I see! When you say you struggle, do you refer to picking one thing and wondering about it, or trying new ones? About having not only one style, absolutely! This comes from 2 places, I guess. One is that I thought I would eventually figure out my main thing (maybe this will happen, but not yet?)
So I want to know! Do you relate to any of this? Does that make sense? Or in case you don't, how did you choose? Did you explore a lot? Did you find your thing quickly, or did you struggle? Was work (for other people) the thing that put the restraint?
But, thinking about other areas of my life, it happens as well with my taste in dressing? And fashion. Like, I love goth and pastel, academia, cottage core, Lolita, just comfy clothes, clothes that look weird or funny, etc. I find everything so attractive and fun, maybe I'm just a hoarder, lol
I thought it was more a matter of time to figure out the things I do really enjoy and love, like people do when choosing between watercolor over gouache, or line or render, and all these choices people end up doing kinda naturally? (or at least it gives me that impression)
