The well-documented issues aside, from a game design and writing perspective I thought Pokémon Scarlet/Violet was awesome. Truly a big leap for the series and I'm honestly super excited for the next thing. Also, the soundtrack slaps

Genuinely has me hopeful for whatever they iterate on in the DLC and Gen 10.

The story is the first time I've cared about characters in the series for a while. It's easily one of my favorites, jank aside
