Because I'm not a huge nerd, I'm obsessed with this show called Engineering Catastrophes. And I'm so annoyed that THREE different episodes feature 601 Lexington. We get it! They didn't consider the cross winds! Quick reminder: not a huge nerd.

All the catastrophes are: didn't understand the environment (landslides, sinkholes, sinkage, don't light coal mines on fire, etc), didn't understand how to read plans (builders changed bolts, rebar, number of screws, etc), didn't understand basic research (oops those railroads aren't compatible)
