Totally sympathize and I understand your frustration. Perhaps your group would be interested in hearing about a African migrant org helping migrants in Lebanon. They are quoted in my article. Here's an old Al Jazeera video of them, but theyre doing the same work today. x.com/ajplus/statu...

It's very very worrying to see Syrian regime atrocity deniers get a new lease on life. University students are hosting them, and Palestinian protest movements pass them the mic at rallies. Fewer and fewer are upholding standards these days.

Thank you! If Netanyahu turned away from the US and Israel became a Russian satellite state, Rania and her friends would become zionists overnight. Won't ever forget her flying into Ethiopia in 2021 to deny and downplay mass slaughter there, and the warm reception she received from war criminals.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Flee from war only to encounter this in Egypt, terrible.

In Sidon and the Bekaa Valley, African women organizers tell me that UNICEF there has ceased providing food and other basics for non Lebanese for a few days now, directing African migrants to seek food at local agencies.

N.B the few shelters hosting African migrants in Lebanon are run by African women community leaders or Lebanese feminist non profits. Mostly private homes. UN agencies have thus far done nothing to address the shelter need for them. The IOM expects these organizers to shoulder the burden.

After being kicked out of the shelter, the group of 70 women and children from Sierra Leone, with a few women from Bangladesh, spent 5 nights outdoors on Beirut's streets in the cold heavy rain & with airstrikes within earshot. Also, migrants slam the IOM & their diplomats for abandoning them.

My story for @aljazeera.com on the plight of African migrants facing displacement and discrimination, amid Israel's bombing campaign of Lebanon. Hear from Selina, one of a group of 70 displaced mostly Sierra Leonean migrant women & children who were kicked out of a "Lebanese only" shelter.

Seeking safety from Israeli strikes, many foreign domestic workers face new hurdles of displacement and discrimination.
