Oh no, any meds you certainly follow the doctor's directions! Sorry for any miscommunication. I simply meant the chlorpheniramine can be added on to existing medicine without worry and taken as needed, but should not be your daily medication. You might bring up with your doctor.

It's a well established medicine! It's just been phased out for the newer antihistamines that last 24 hours. But sometimes, that older medicine just works better, for us at least.
