The joke of her being the mom ended up becoming canon for one player, the two of us had joked about it often so one day we just said "eh why not" and added that little detail in.
Jag meanwhile was always set to be some kind of obstacle of the team, a leader with association of the PLA, and a skilled trainer. While she has come to some issues with the squad, she's much more connected to the story of the game now due to how some events progressed.
Henry has gone from the "idealistic kid" of the group with no world experience to speak of, to having heard of the dangers the party faces and understanding this journey is more than fun and games. He may not have had as much screen time as other NPC's, but its been fun seeing the change in him.
