time-tested Day-for-Night staple! people are still doing this today: Fury Road for ex. has some long "night" sequences that are done this exact way, all in-camera the best way to shoot night is to shoot it during the day, as D.P.s like Hoyte Van Hoytema can attest (NOPE has v fancy Day-for-night)
