Yes EXACTLY I wouldn’t shove all my clothes into my backpack if a checked bag wasn’t $40

I get free checked bags and don't even use them because it fucking sucks lol. For a direct flight it's fine and you just have to wait for a bit for it, but if you have a connection, especially to a different airline, only by the grace of god will your bag make it to your destination.
