Yeah this tracks. Lots of people are intrigued by the concept, but there really aren't very many practical use cases. The writing is stilted, the pictures look fake, and most people don't have huge bodies of text that need to be summarized.
but but but remember there's that one guy who uses it for "textual collaging", which is absolutely definitely not getting ChatGPT to write pretentious drivel on his behalf
