When Erin & I spoke to The UN Association of the USA at the start of the month, one of our main focuses was on how anti-rights movements seek to pit communities against each other. Their goal is the eradication of trans people, and the relegation of cis women to 2nd class citizens.

I was just at Missoula City Council until 4am opposing the city's efforts to enact a set of cruel policies targeting unhoused Missoulians. I testified alongside an overwhelming majority of the public opposing these policies. The council ignored the public & passed them anyway.
No one should receive a felony & 3 years in prison for stealing a sandwich. The fact that Missoula Police and the City/County attorney appear to be using felony charges in order to bypass municipal courts & incarcerate homeless people is unacceptable. missoulian.com/news/local/c...

I've done some amazing events in the last year, but today I got to do my favorite: Career Day at my stepson's elementary school! My fiancée, Erin Reed, and I spent a few hours talking to our son's school about what it's like to be a journalist and a legislator. It was so fun!
