It doesn't even stop with the Walkman for Sony and refining audiotape. Let's get digital! There's videotape (first U-matic, then Betamax) + digital audio processor → DAT → NT, not to mention the Philips-enabled fork of videotape + digital audio processor → CD → MiniDisc!
