my only gripe with them is that when wearing them, if i speak, my own voice is too loud in my own ears. so i usually get really quiet with em on lol. idk if thats just a me problem, or if im using them wrong, or idk. but they at least help wayyy more than that bothers me

Oh no, I get that too actually. I have to be careful with what I eat while wearing them because if it's something like chips or popcorn, the crunch is LOUD to me.
