Right now, my reel is just a clip of me playing two of my characters talking to each other to show that in one scene, I can play two distinct characters.
I think you should focus on showcasing moments of strength in different genres/temperaments. Like something angry, something sad, something happy, something well improv’d. At least two different characters to showcase that you can play characters easily distinguished.
My lack of pop culture references is one of the reasons I don’t think I’d be a good addition to something like dropout. I feel like keeping up on pop culture references is part of the job.
How do you look so good no matter what you do?!
