Ambassador Katara Headcanon: Katara establishes a waterbending school on Ember Island. She always loved the location & warm beach. She thinks it’s the perfect place for waterbenders to learn & enjoy bending. She recruits many women from the North to learn combat & men to learn healing techniques.

Many waterbenders also fall in love with the location and settle there. After a decade, many mixed families also appear & the destination becomes popular internationally as a vacation spot, too.
