I've played the same game on a PC and PS4 and honestly i couldn't tell the difference between the two.

I think these days, most of the difference is in convenience and money saved. PC games go on discounts all the time, over multiple different services. You don't need to pay for online gameplay, you can customize the system however you want, etc
