出处:m.weibo.cn/status/5074998735406107

Forgetting has a number of mechanisms. There's things like interruption whereby you can remember things but only through certain cues and not others. There is poor retrieval strength like your alevel but for new information that hasn't been learnt it's most likely poor storage strength

#ChatChemistry Second question- this used to be the structure in my O and ALevel and again at university. Great for students, but I imagine a nightmare for marking? They do have this structure in humanities. What do we think?

A question prompted by the functions discussion: Are we *consistent* in the level of formality used at Alevel? This is not about whether we treat concepts in enough depth or with sufficient rigour, but rather whether once that level is set then we work with dependent topics at a similar level.

How do students cope with the change at Alevel? I do admit I used g for gravitational field strength as that is just too many letters to write out. Plus the paper says take g=9.8 so they need to know it.

Oh gosh! I hadn’t realised that you had a book out. Immediately bought it. Your YouTube channel saved my bacon so many time when i started teaching alevel maths (older, second career, a bit rusty then).

Took my Year 14 Alevel RS class to see this today. Brilliant film but some very harrowing scenes. #TeamRE
