This is kind of wild because in AoE3, which was a mainstay for wifey and I for several years, we would constantly make fun of the fact that even the pseudo-... Tudor? ...Elizabethan? ...Stuart? English in AoE3 sounds nothing like *any* version of English. At least half of it is literal gibberish!

AoE4 never really clicked for me, even though I actually quite liked AoE3 back when it released where it clearly pulls inspiration from. After several hours I just ended up playing a whole bunch of AoE2:DE in the month after AoE4 launched.

Me: In aoe3, Sweden can have access to Finnhorses. I didn’t know Finland specializes in horsemenship. 🇫🇮 friend: To be fair, neither did I. I always thought we use our horses for racing and farming. Also, I’m allergic to horses.
